Who can tell us what is now, and also what once was, located where the aerial photograph(s) below were taken?

SOLUTION


It's Sandy Beach Marina, which was built in 1957 and is located on the south side of Cottage Grove Lake,
which is one of the Portage Lakes. However, Cottage Grove Lake is not included in the list of the
Portage Lakes identified on Wikipedia or on Knowledge Encyclopedia.

Across the street is where Sandy Beach Park was, which apparently operated from the 1920s to the 1970s.
